Businesses in Jackson and Josephine counties can take advantage of our special Conditionally Exempt Generator Day on Friday, May 7. This service is by application only and appointments are made in advance. Fees are charged according to the type and volume of the waste being disposed.

What to bring

• Cleaning supplies
(like window cleaners, drain cleaners, bathroom cleaners
and any products containing bleach or ammonia)
• Old pesticides and insecticides
• Swimming pool chemicals
• Weed killers not currently approved for use
• Old lead and oil-base paint
• Old paint removers
• Light ballasts
• Batteries
• Thermostats containing mercury

Trade in your mercury thermometer for a digital one -
at no charge - at the Household Hazardous Waste Event.


If you’ve got an old mercury thermometer in your medicine cabinet, bring it to the Rogue Transfer Station on Table Rock Road,
and we will exchange it for a new, safer digital thermometer—at no charge. One per customer, while supplies last.

Latex paint must be brought to the
Latex Paint Drop-Off Event
on April 30th and May 1st.
