Jackson County Recycling Partnership is hosting 3 free drop-off locations for numerous types of plastic, including grocery and dry cleaning bags, cereal and potato chips bags, to-go containers, lawn furniture, toys, nursery pots, buckets and tubs, CDs and CD cases, baling twine, shrink wrap and much more.
See a list of acceptable Items below.

Three event locations include:
Rogue Disposal Transfer Station at 8001 Table Rock Road in White City
Valley View Transfer Station at 3000 Valley View Road in Ashland
OSU Extension Service at 569 Hanley Road in Central Point

Please no large commercial or industrial volumes. This is a collection event and we are not set up to handle large volumes.

fertilizer & seed bags
baling twine
drip tape & drip irrigation components
plastic strapping
greenhouse film
visquene & woven landscape fabric (no mud chunks)
Plastics with Numbers
all plastics with numbers
salsa tubs
yogurt containers
deodorant bottles
cups

Plastics without Numbers
buckets
clam shells/to-go containers
bottle caps and drink lids
VHS tapes, DVD’s, CD’s, CD cases
straws & utensils
lawn and patio furniture
toys, slides & pools
pet igloos
plastic election signs with metal or wood stakes removed
plastic tarps, clean & dry with metal grommets removed
laundry baskets and much more


Items NOT Accepted:
You will be asked to haul away any unacceptable items

• NO vinyl, like a shower curtain, no Rubber, Latex, or Nitrile
• NO Styrofoam blocks, peanuts, food trays or egg cartons
• NO “compostable” plastic or #PLA 7
• NO PVC pipe
• NO food contaminated or dirty plastic
• NO foam or rubber
• NO small toys with metal in them
• NO plastic with metal or electronics
• NO spray bottle nozzles and lotion pumps with metal springs (remove spring or toss the pump)
• NO containers with chemical residue
• NO coolers, due to the foam inside
